My name is Bob Anet and started in the Real Estate Business in Bloomington/Normal in 1997.I have been involved with the marketing of a number of subdivisions in the area such as: Summerfield, Spring Ridge, Winter Green and Royal Links.I have also been involved with redevelopment projects in downtown Bloomington.
My wife Cindy and two daughters Keili and Kenzi moved to Bloomington in 1986 from Vail, Colorado.My wife ran a restaurant called Purcell’s and I worked in the Ski Industry and eventually worked for Former President Gerald R. Ford the last six years I lived in Vail.
Upon moving to Bloomington we remodeled the old main fire station in downtown and reopened it as Central Station Restaurant.In 1991 we started Rosie’s Pub and Main Street Expresso.We still own Rosie’s Pub.
I have been on the Board of Directors of the McLean County Chamber of Commerce, The Director of the Mclean County St. Jude’s and the President of the Normal West High School Booster Club.My involvement in the community has given me a good understanding of what is happening throughout the Bloomington/Normal Area.
